Judge's Biographies

Douglas WhitlockJudge Douglas A. Whitlock was appointed to the Enterprise Justice Court in November 1990 and serves on a part-time basis. He was appointed by the Washington County Commission to serve as a full-time judge in the Washington County Justice Court in January 2003. Judge Whitlock received the Second Miler Award as well as the District Award of Merit for Service to Youth from the Pilot Peak District of the Boy Scouts of America. He is currently enrolled in the Legal Institute for Justice Court Judges. Judge Whitlock has served on the Washington County Board of Adjustments and for 19 years as the City of Enterprise volunteer fire chief until his retirement in 2003.He is a member of the Washington County Domestic Violence Coalition. In addition, Judge Whitlock was awarded the 2005 Justice Court Judge of the Year award by the Association and Board of Justice Court Judges.

 

Paul DameJudge Paul Dame was appointed to the Washington County Justice Court in 2004. He received a law degree cum laude in 1990 from Brigham Young University. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Dame was the Chief Deputy Washington County Prosecutor. Judge Dame is a member of the Utah State Bar and the Scott M. Matheson Sr. American Inn of Court. Judge Dame has been serving as Justice Court Judge for Washington County since 2004.
