What We Do
The Dixie Center is designed with maximum versatility to accommodate groups from 5 to 5,000. Featuring a 46,500 sq. ft. column free exhibit hall, 32,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space in 19 meeting rooms, 2 board rooms, state of the art auditorium and 25,000 sq. ft. of pre-function space. Our glass enclosed atrium style Garden Room located in the North Lobby, elegant rotunda, and spacious indoor lobby space are all ideal locations for receptions, banquets, networking, vendor displays or breaks.
It is the mission of the Dixie Center at St. George, a premier convention destination to positively impact the economy of the Washington County Area. To provide outstanding value, superior service, and a high quality experience for our customers, while maintaining integrity of purpose and budget.
Janet was raised across the US as an Air Force brat. Her dad retired and settled in the Hurricane area. She finished secondary school and graduated from Dixie State University (Dixie College), where she met and married her husband.
Janet has spent the past 40+ years mostly in southern Utah except for a stretch in northern California when her husband served in the Navy. When they returned she attended Southern Utah University where she graduated with a degree in education. After teaching children for 20 years, Janet retired and turned her energy to a new career working in marketing at the Dixie Center. She has met a lot of outstanding people and looks forward to many years of growing strong working relationships with her team and clients.
She and her partner raised three strong children who all live in northern Utah. They appreciate visiting their children (and attending Real Salt Lake soccer matches), but love to return to the red rocks of our beautiful area. Janet enjoys spending time hiking and exploring with her husband and dogs.
