The Community Development Department only accepts building permit applications electronically through our online permitting software system. Once an application is received, the system will automatically send the applicant a link to check the status of their application.
24 hour notice is required after work is completed and ready for inspection. Permit Number required when inspection is scheduled.

A 4 yard capacity dumpster with lid or cover must be located at the building site during all phases of construction. Said dumpster shall be serviced on a regular basis to avoid overloading.
A sanitary facility “porta-pottie” device, shall be required at each construction site in Washington County. Said facility shall be maintained at the site until the construction is completed or until alternative facilities, through construction, can be made available.
