Washington County Objectives & Goals
1. Protecting Constitutional Rights & the Rule of Law
Objective: Preserve individual liberty and public safety by ensuring transparent, accountable, and limited government.

- Uphold the peace through fair and constitutional law enforcement.
- Strengthen emergency preparedness to safeguard life and property.
- Foster trust between law enforcement and residents through community engagement.
- Children’s Justice Center
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners to protect children, advance justice, promote healing, and educate the community.
- Justice Court & Court Support Services
- Ensure access to fair, efficient, and impartial justice.
- Expand rehabilitation and alternative sentencing programs that reduce crime and respect due process.
- Attorney’s Office
- Defend the interests of the County in accordance with law and justice, including representation in civil lawsuits and providing legal advice to county leaders.Provide legal oversight that ensures county government remains within its constitutional role.Represent the citizens of Washington County in prosecuting criminal felony and misdemeanor cases for the state of Utah.
