- Under the direction of the County Attorney, the Criminal Division prosecutes all felonies and many misdemeanor crimes that occur in Washington County.
- Our Office aggressively prosecutes crimes ranging from theft to murder, while working to reduce recidivism and help individuals improve their lives by connecting them with social services in addition to traditional incarceration.
- Our prosecuting attorneys practice in the Fifth Judicial District Court, the Washington County Justice Court, and the Washington County Juvenile Court as well as specialized, problem-solving courts such as Mental Health Court and Drug Recovery Court.
- Additionally, our victim advocates communicate with victims and witnesses of crimes to provide resources and help administer justice.
