The Washington County School District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
- The Washington County School District tax on a $245,197 residence would increase from $622.10 to $630.06, which is $7.96 per year.
- The Washington County School District tax on a $245,197 business would increase from $1,131.09 to $1,145.56, which is $14.47 per year.
- If the proposed budget is approved, Washington County School District would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 1.85% above last year’s property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
