NOTICE OF OPEN BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS
INTERIM BOARD OF MOUNTAIN FIRE SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that there are five (5) board positions available on the interim board for the Mountain Fire Special Service District.
Interim board members serve at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County for indefinite terms.
It is expected that the interim board members will be appointed to the administrative control board for the District when it is created, though the Washington County Commission reserves the right to appoint any qualified individual to the initial board of the newly created District.
To qualify for appointment to this interim board, an individual must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a U.S. Citizen;
- Be a qualified elector (registered voter) of the proposed
Mountain Fire Special Service District.
Those wishing to serve on the interim board for the Mountain Fire Special Service District should contact the Washington County Commission Office no later than Friday, December 29, 2022:

The County Commissioners will consider the nominees for appointment to this interim board at their February 7, 2023 County Commission meeting.
