SR-18; Veyo to Central Multi-Use Path Project

Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the SR-18; Veyo to Central Multi-Use Path Project. Bids must be submitted by November 29, 2023, 10:00 AM, to Washington County, c/o Todd Edwards, at the Washington County Public Works Department located in the Washington County Office Building, Commission Chambers, 111 East Tabernacle, St. George, Utah 84770 (Google Maps). Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Washington County, c/o Todd Edwards, 111 East Tabernacle, St. George, Utah 84770. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside "SR-18; Veyo To Central Multi-Use Path Project".

There will be a non-mandatory pre-BID meeting and site visit 111 East Tabernacle, St. George in Training conference room #301 on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM.

The Bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services to construct approximately 6 miles of paved bike/multi-use path, including drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous items.

All bidders who submit a bid are required to be on the Plan Holders List. Addenda will only be provided to the plan holders that are on the Plan Holders List.

A 100% performance — labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every Bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming Washington County as oblige, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to Washington County.

Washington County reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the County.
