Washington County Fair

Washington County Fair Survey

Washington County is requesting input and recommendations on making improvements to our Annual County Fair. A 16-question survey has been created, wherein; citizens from Washington County are encouraged to answer specific questions as well as leave comments and suggestions in regards to the fair. The Survey will be available through December 21, 2018. Completed surveys submitted will be entered to win a Grand Prize 2-person kayak.

Litter Reporting Survey for Give Your Land a Hand

As part of our countywide effort to Give Your Land a Hand. We are introducing a mobile Litter Reporting Survey to help identify excessive litter areas and dumpsites throughout our county. The data collected will be used to better understand litter items, recyclability and manage future clean-ups. We thank you for your support and participation and hope to see you at one of the clean-up locations.

Youth Baking Class at 4-H on October 18

Pumpkin Muffins & Fruit Skewers with Pumpkin Dip

This class is open to any 4-H youth, ages 7-10 years, who are accompanied by their parent/guardian. You can register for 4-H through our online program at ut.4honline.com. If you have questions about registering, please call Kay Jean at 435-634-2693.

Youth will learn basic baking skills and tips about creating a healthy plate while creating a festive pumpkin recipe.
