NOTICE is hereby given that the following vacancies are available:
- Five (5) vacancies on the interim board for the Mountain Fire Special Service District
- Five (5) vacancies on the interim board for the Western Fire Special Service District
Interim board members serve at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County for indefinite terms. It is expected that the interim board members will be appointed to the administrative control board for the District when it is created, though the Washington County Commission reserves the right to appoint any qualified individual to the initial board of the newly created District.
To qualify for appointment to a Interim Board, an individual must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a U.S. Citizen;
- Be a qualified elector (registered voter) within the district to which you are applying.
