Notice of Vacancy Angel Springs Special Service District Administrative Control Board 2026

NOTICE OF VACANCY ANGELL SPRINGS SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that there is one (1) vacancy on the Angell Springs Special Service District Administrative Control Board. The vacancy has a term expiring December 31, 2029.

To qualify for appointment to that Board, the applicant must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Be a U.S. Citizen; and
  2. Be a registered voter residing in the boundary of the Angell Springs Special Service District.

Those wishing to serve on the Angell Springs Special Service District Administrative Control Board should submit a completed Notice of Candidacy form to the Washington County Commission on or before March 13, 2026. The county commission will make the appointment(s) in a public meeting after the application period closes.

RFP for Construction of Cliffrose Trailhead and Event Area

Washington County of Utah, in partnership with the Dixie National Forest; Pine Valley Ranger District seeks to obtain proposals from qualified industry experts that can provide construction services in compliance with industry standards. The selected contractor will construct a Trailhead, designed by the Dixie National Forest, as well as light clearing and grubbing of an event parking, staging and camping area for the Cliffrose Trail system.

Each proposal will be reviewed and scored according to the Selection Criteria contained in this RFP. A proposal is anticipated to be selected by March 25, 2026.
