Testing of Automatic Tabulating Equipment
In accordance with UCA 20A-4-104, testing of the automatic tabulating equipment will be held at the Washington County Administration Building, 111 E Tabernacle, St George, on Monday, June 3, 2024 at noon. The meeting will begin in the outside office, Entrance C. This office is located on the north side of the building, facing east.
Post Election Audit
In accordance with UCA 20A-1-104(1)(f(ii) the Washington County Clerk shall hold a Post-Election Audit on Monday July 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Washington County Administration Building, 111 E Tabernacle, St George. The meeting will begin in the outside office, Entrance C. This office is located on the north side of the building, facing east.

Notice of Public Hearing – Review Proposed Amendments to Titles 10 & 11 to Comply with Senate Bill 174
The Washington County Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing to review proposed amendments to Titles 10 & 11, Zoning and Subdivision Regulations, to Comply with Senate Bill 174 Regarding Streamlining the Approval Processes for Single Family, Two-family, and Townhome Development, and Streamlining Related Preliminary and Final Plat Processes, and Other Miscellaneous Changes to the Titles. (Public Hearing – Legislative).
Review, discuss, hold a public hearing, and make recommendations regarding various changes to zoning and subdivision regulations related to the implementation of Senate Bill 174, and the State requirement to streamline the approval processes for certain types of residential development, and to reduce the review and hearing processes for related preliminary and final plats. The goal is to fast-track single family, two-family, and townhome development in the hope that it will create development to meet the needs of State-wide demand for residential housing. Also, while reviewing Titles 10 & 11, other miscellaneous revisions were identified, and changes made.
